Venice Modern Art was started around the personal collection of rock impresario Johnny Brower, whose landmark concerts and festivals helped shape the landscape of late 60's music and culture.
Representing only a few rare and heretofore mostly unseen works, the Venice Modern Art collection features work by cultural icon JEAN-MICHEL BASQUIAT and legendary punk/ska band The Offs.
Limited Edition vinyl of this rare Basquiat work are available through Venice Modern Art.
A documentary telling the story of the Toronto Rock & Roll Revival is now available on Crave in Canada. The film premiered at Hot Docs in Toronto (2022), as well as at SXSX in 2023. The festival was produced by Johnny Brower in 1969 with a rare performance by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. The Doors closed the show.
